These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the ExpensGlobe website and application.

By visiting, purchasing, installing, or using ExpensGlobe, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the website or application.

1. About ExpensGlobe

ExpensGlobe is a lightweight, single-page expense tracker designed for quick viewing. Your transactions, logs, summaries, and charts are arranged on one page so you can scroll to view everything without opening multiple screens.

ExpensGlobe is an offline-first application. It is designed to store your expense records locally on your device or in your browser. Your transaction data is not uploaded to ExpensGlobe servers.

ExpensGlobe is a personal finance organization tool. It is not a bank, accounting service, financial adviser, investment adviser, tax adviser, or financial institution.

2. Eligibility

You may use ExpensGlobe only if you are legally able to agree to these Terms under the laws that apply to you.

3. License to Use ExpensGlobe

After a valid purchase or license activation, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use ExpensGlobe for personal or internal business purposes.

This license does not transfer ownership of the application to you.

You must not copy, resell, redistribute, sublicense, rent, lease, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of ExpensGlobe, except where applicable law expressly allows it.

4. Offline Data Storage

Expense records entered into ExpensGlobe may be stored locally in your browser or on your device.

Because your records may be stored locally, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Your data may be lost if you clear browser storage, uninstall the application, reset your device, delete application data, use private browsing, or change devices without exporting or backing up your records.

We cannot recover locally stored transaction data that has been deleted, lost, cleared, or damaged.

5. Purchases and License Keys

ExpensGlobe purchases may be processed through Gumroad or another payment provider displayed during checkout.

Payment providers may have their own terms, refund policies, and privacy policies. You should review those policies before completing your purchase.

License keys are intended only for the purchaser or authorized user. You must not publish, share, resell, or distribute your license key.

We may deactivate a license that was obtained fraudulently, shared publicly, resold without permission, or used in violation of these Terms.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Entering accurate transaction information.
• Keeping your device and browser secure.
• Protecting your exported PDF and CSV files.
• Maintaining backups of important financial records.
• Keeping your license key confidential.
• Using ExpensGlobe only for lawful purposes.

Do not enter passwords, banking credentials, complete payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive information into ExpensGlobe.

7. Acceptable Use

You must not:

• Use ExpensGlobe for unlawful or fraudulent activity.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the service.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the website or application.
• Upload malicious code or harmful content.
• Copy, exploit, or redistribute the application.
• Abuse license verification or payment systems.
• Use ExpensGlobe to violate another person's rights.

8. Intellectual Property

ExpensGlobe, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, logos, layout, and other content, is owned by ExpensGlobe or its licensors.

These Terms do not give you ownership of ExpensGlobe or any of its intellectual property.

9. No Financial Advice

ExpensGlobe only provides tools for recording and organizing financial information. It does not provide financial, accounting, investment, tax, or legal advice.

You should consult a qualified professional before making financial, tax, investment, or legal decisions.

10. Availability and Updates

We try to keep ExpensGlobe functional and available, but we do not guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or available in every browser.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the website or application at any time.

11. Disclaimer

ExpensGlobe is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee that the application will meet every requirement, prevent every data loss, or be compatible with every device, browser, operating system, or future software update.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ExpensGlobe will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or other losses resulting from your use of or inability to use ExpensGlobe.

This includes loss of locally stored data, exported files, profits, revenue, business, or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using ExpensGlobe at any time.

We may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms, misuse the application, distribute the application without permission, share your license key, or engage in fraudulent activity.

If your license is terminated, you must stop using ExpensGlobe and delete unauthorized copies of the application.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Any dispute relating to these Terms will be handled by the courts located in India, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of ExpensGlobe after changes are published means that you accept the updated Terms.
